Director of Planning for a Manhattan based Apparel Company
* Spearhead development and mangement of account plans by month, by season, by division. Identify opportunities and implement plans to improve turn and increase profitability.
* Develop door sales and stock by location analysis monthly and quarterly.
* Responsible for projecting and analyzing sales, markdowns, vendor margin, inventory levels and on order bookings by account, by size, by division.
* Develop, project and manage the Markdown Allowance Budget.
* Responsible for managing and reconciling authorized and unauthorized chargebacks to tie with financial documents in Accounts Payable.
* Work with sales and planning team in creating and managing the Markdown Schedules by division for department stores.
* Particiapate in Sales meeting and Market appointments. Establish and maintain communication with accounts regarding financial goals and performance.
* Manage and monitor weekly retail sales by account for all size ranges, for all divisions.
* Conduct End of Month meetings with President of Sales for each division to discuss current issues/opportunities.
* Coordinate and manage information to and from sales teams for month end performance and discuss implementation of future business strategies.
* Responsible for training and development of Planning team.
* Ad Hoc Analysis as needed for Senior Management.
