Senior Accountant

Profitable and growing $100MM multi-division manufacturing company needs an experienced Senior Accountant in its New York City midtown Manhattan headquarters.
Reporting to the Controller, this position carries a broad
range of responsibilities including maintaining general ledgers,consolidating divisions results to prepare monthly financial statements, financial analysis of monthly operations, monthly and quarterly cash flow statements, fixed assets and inter-company account reconciliation’s, preparation of budgets and forecasts, assistance in supervision of accounts receivable and accounts payable, and assistance in managing bank and factor reconciliation’s. Experience in SEC reporting helpful but not required

Candidates must have at least 5 years of experience in accounting with
Manufacturing companies. A Bachelor's degree in accounting and experience with automated accounting system are pluses. Consolidation experience is a MUST!

Candidates must be highly competent, detail-oriented, and exhibit good communications and human relations skills. Candidates must be enthusiastic and committed to the effort required to succeed in a high-growth, rapidly changing environment.

Must have solid technical accounting skills and the ability to work effectively with minimal direction and supervision. Must have the flexibility to work additional hours when deadlines require.

Compensation includes a salary range of $60,000 to $70,000 and an
Exceptional benefits program.
