Work as a part of a strategic HR team to provide support to the organization. Responsibilities include Recruitment:Provide qualified Store Manager/Asst. Manager candidates to assigned District Managers utilizing cost effective strategies: internet, direct recruitment, networking. Provide support to Store Managers in the recruitment of hourly associates. Examine staffing mix in assigned stores to assure the companies diversity goals are being met and to monitor compression. Associate relations: Coach Management on interpreting policy issues and interacting with associates. Support the company's views on Open Door/Legal Community relations. Lend support to crisis situations affecting management and associate's well being. Training: Support DM in utilizing management training programs and training tools. Validate effectiveness of training, communicate findings to HR Manager. Conduct technical/soft skills training classes as necessary. Individual needs 5-7 years HR experience with concentration in training a plus. Strong communication / relationship building skills. The ability to travel approx. 50% of the time. A degree in a related discipline. Multi-unit experience preferably in a retail environment.
